i love my job

i come into work this morning to find unkind graffiti all over the center door, one of them bearing my name just under the word "fuck".... sweet. this afternoon someone has written "fuck you" in black marker on the hood of my car. i've clearly pissed someone off. tonight i will be watching the videotape of outside the center for entertainment. i can only hope the door decorations happened after sunrise. the camera doesn't work so well at night. i left around 10 last night and came back at 8 this morning...doesn't leave much daylight time.

If you want to email me the address, I can pass by in the morning on my way to work, which is usually at or right before sunrise (6:30am) and at least try and give you a hand paring down the time frame.

something screwed up with the tape. i had nasty words again this morning. if it is there in the morning i may just park my car somewhere else and spend the night at work to watch. :)

Here's a hug for you, because if our positions were reversed, I could certainly use one: HUG.

Stay safe, and remember that you're making a difference there even when it doesn't always seem like it.

if there weren't more good kids than serious problem ones, i would be pretty upset..... i'm not upset, just have hurt feelings.

What kind of security situation do you have there? Are there at least occasional roving guards? Should we be concerned for your safety?

I'm actually going to come by this afternoon, I have some more clothes to drop off...

See you after noon, or there abouts.

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?
long skirts and hoop earrings
do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
