Does this mean that She Who Should Be Fired has been? Woo hoo! Champagne all around. The agony of feeling like a shit fades faster than the pain of continued dealing with incompetents. Things will feel better soon.

yep, my EEOC ducklings are in a row. now, i just wait for the call, unless i have misjudged her. she was unusually quiet, almost scary. she cried as she left. i felt terrible, but had to do what was best for the center. i should have waited til the end of the week. my number one volunteer is out of town and now i have 40 kids every afternoon for the rest of the week, alone! grant me peace or refill my valium....

I've only had to fire someone once, and it was certainly no fun. There's just no good way to do it. I'm sure that you handled it as compassionately as you could. *hug*

the compassion came in by letting her stay the last few months. having a job and only showing up for it less than 3/4 of the time, demonstrates a supervisor's compassion for sure....

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?

do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
