Protests Against the Iraq War
Hey were you at any of the anti-war protests in New Orleans? I went to most the major ones.

almost every one of them. i got a little pissed off at the way one of the organizers acted at the MLK march and then again when they cancelled a couple of them because it was raining and i quit going with the organized group. you don't cancel protests because of rain. wars go on rain or shine.

Surprised we never met!

That would be C3, I am not too happy with C3 either.

What pissed me off is that they stopped having protests, we should be protesting the occupation. Also we should be protesting Bush.

I went to a few C3 meetings and when I tried to suggest we have some protests they totally sandbagged the idea. C3 is completely dominated by just a few people even though they try to make a show of being democratic. They are kind of useless as a group I think.

NOLASTOPWAR was a great group but they were a bunch of college students and got burned out at the end.

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?
long skirts and hoop earrings
do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
