From a cat's diary:

Today: slept some. yarn. food in a bowl, yum. a good day.

Today: slept. more food in a bowl. mouse. napped. a good day.

I'll have to see if I can find the original of that.

Re: Bindi
i have... and living there learned a lot more than i ever did just reading, not only about hinduism but other indian religions. i stayed with a hindu family for a bit and even took my morning baths in the ganges (yes, i survived). and i lived in a village mixed with hindus and jains.
now i am feeling homesick ;)

Re: Vegetarianism
i will think about it :)
i know all are welcome and i've been to krishna feasts before, but it just doesn't feel right when i've no interest in converting and am wonderfully content in my own religion. i think our religions are parallel only in the respect that the goal is to break from samsara. however, we approach that goal differently.

Actually Buddha is an avatar of Krishna.

Alot of people goto the feast who are not interested in the religion. Many leave a few dollars donation. But either way my tradition loves for people to eat vegetarian food offered to Krishna. :)

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?
long skirts and hoop earrings
do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
