TS Bill

stayed home today to ride out the storm, literally. the boat is rocking. i've pulled it so far from the pier that i couldn't hop off if i wanted to! i've always loved good storms and hurricanes, but that was when i lived on land and before i had two boats to tend. it is storming very hard now and i am starting to feel a little seasick ;)

have a bit of a break right now... the news says not to be fooled by it, but it gave me time to run out and check on the sailboat. all is doing well.... no big deal really, even on the lake. the water has risen to the bottom of the finger piers, but i can handle three more fet without having to do anything. i like this, but not too much more. :)
looks like it is headed to the northshore and we will get about a half hour to hour break on this side.

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?

do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
