a couple of months ago i found myself excited by one of the few television commercials that actually inspire me to buy the product. the commercial showed a boat in a storm....everything rocking to and fro and the rain coming down in sheets. the camera focused in on an upright deck box, tucked safely in a corner and unaffected by the storm. it was a rubbermaid deck box and i had to have it. this box would solve all my outside storage problems. it would fit perfectly. yes, i had to have it. so i went out and spent a little over $50 to have my very own rubbermaid deck box. i was happy. it held all kinds of stuff.

it has been storming here. kinda like the storm on the commercial.

at this very moment the left top of my deckbox is floating away.

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?
long skirts and hoop earrings
do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
