first Friday Five this year!

1. Do you wear any jewelry? What kind?
a silver necklace with a bast charm on it. my son gave it to me for christmas one year as he explained (he's a mythology freak) that bast was the egyptian protector of women. i thought it was the sweetest gift...he was only 13. i quit wondering where he came up with the money to buy it when i got January's credit card statement.
my ears are double pierced and i usually wear silver and pearl studs.
three rings.... a silver "O" ring, a gold triangle ring that a friend gave me when i was leaving town once and a diamond and sapphire (my favorite combination...i love sapphires) band.
and some various silver rings in nontraditional places ;)
i think i am allergic to watches, so i never wear them!

2. How often do you wear it?

3. Do you have any piercings? If so, where?
oh, didn't get away my answer above. both inner labias and a triangle. yes, the triangle hurt like hell. i am debating a hood...

4. Do you have any tattoos? If so, where?
a small butterfly between my breasts painted on around my 30th birthday. it serves as a reminder to spread my wings and fly.
a daisy on my left shoulder which reminds me of some sweet times in the past. next to it was added a big bumblebee which reminds me that even though life can have its sweetness it can have one hell of a stinger.
a tiny black and red infinity symbol above chris' initials which, at the time, covered a bruise chris left me the night before he died. i have mixed feelings about this one now.
and a big, beautiful butterfly which i can hide if i don't shave....

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
a party and friends. some work. sleep will fit in there somewhere this weekend!

wandering does not make you a "gypsy."
why would you call yourself
after those who have no home?
long skirts and hoop earrings
do not make you a "gypsy."
why do you call yourself after
those who have no clothes?

"gypsy" is pejorative. please don't perpetuate the stereotype. educate yourself on what it really means to be a "gypsy" in this world.
