don't fear death

bundy

rented a couple of two left shoes films. dahmer and bundy. dahmer wasn't so great and it was hard to keep up with all the flashbacks. seemed to play on sympathy.
bundy was an excellent film (released on the 1st). the cinema photography is awesome for a low budget. the dvd has a can't be missed director's commentary. it is gory and violent and sickenly realistic depicting his life from his first brutality to his execution, which is the only time i have seen an execution so accurately portrayed on screen and even included the fact that a woman was his executioner.
about time we have a real portrayal of bundy that doesn't make him to the handsome, everybody's neighbor kind of man like the media did.

"The feral brilliance of [Michael Reilly Burke's] performance lies in the way he evokes the subtle wrongness beneath the facade that gripped the public imagination."
Maitland McDonagh
